By David Kabiyesi

It was a moment of joy for old and new members of Super Falcons after Wuhan Jiangda FC forward, Desire Oparanozie rejoined the square after two years in self-exile.

The Turkey camp of the team came alive as Oparanozie landed in camp ahead of Friday’s international friendly against Haiti women’s national team.

Recall Oparanozie was booted out of Falcons for championing the cause of her teammate during a bonus row with Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) chieftains after 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The striker had missed out on 2022 African Women’s Championship in Morocco due to Covid-19 restrictions in China as Nigeria went on to pick bronze at the competition.

The ten players in camp are Tosin Demehin, Rofiat Imuran, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Ashleigh Plumptre, Gift Monday, Asisat Oshoala, Ngozi Okobi, Toni Payne, and Rasheedat Ajibade arrived at camp as at Wednesday night while five more players are still been expected today.
