Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has pushed himself into the Top 10 bracket of the most valuable players in the world as the influential website, Transfer Market, rated him as joint eighth in the rankings.
According to the website, despite being arguably one of the top-three strikers in the world, he shared the same market value as Barcelona central midfielder Pedri and Federico Valverde of Real Madrid whose price tags are fixed at 100 Million Euros.
Osimhen has netted 25 goals in all competitions so far this season to push his transfer value from 75 Million Euros.
Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is the second most expensive Nigeria star after his value on the transfer market plummeted to 32 Million Euros no thanks to injuries and a drop in form.
This was a player who was once valued at 60 Million Euros.
France captain Kylian Mbappe is the most expensive player in the world at 180 Million Euros with Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland valued at 170 Million Euros.
Meanwhile, Terem Moffi and Samuel Chukwueze are the most expensive Nigerian stars under 23 years of age.
Both Super Eagles stars are valued on the transfer market at 20 Million Euros in their latest updates.
‘Samu’ has established himself at La Liga club Villarreal CF and is now linked with a big-money transfer mostly to the Premier League in England.
Moffi, on the other hand, spurned a chance to move to the Premier League in January and rather opted to join Ligue 1 club OGC Nice in a transfer worth 30 Million Euros.
Other top valued players include Ajax Amsterdam defender Calvin Bassey, who is now valued at 18 Million Euros, and Club Brugge defensive midfielder Raphael Onyedika, whose value is 10 Million Euros.
The biggest sensation in Belgium, Gift Orban, has seen his stocks shoot up since his amazing run with KAA Gent on arrival from the Norwegian second division only in January.
He was bought for over Three Million Euros, but he is now valued at 9 Million Euros.
Other Nigeria stars in Belgium are among the top valued players who are under 23.
Alhassan Yusuf (Antwerp, Six Million Euros), Victor Boniface (Union St.Gilloise, Six Million Euros), Yira Sor (Genk, Four Million Euros) and Tolu Arokodare (Genk, 3.5 Million Euros).
