The musician who petitioned police against Portable Manny Monie has said even though the controversial singer is his helper, he behaved as if he is above the law with the way he assaulted him and still resisted arrest by the police.
The men of the Ogun State Police Command eventually arrested the controversial singer on Friday following the expiration of the 72-hour ultimatum he was given to surrender himself.
The singer had turned down invitation by the police who received petition against him for assaulting Manny Monie and attempt to arrest him on Tuesday was also rebuffed by the singer as he was seen in the video insulting the cops who visited his bar.
Manny Monie confirmed that Portable who is his former boss had been arrested.
He said Portable helped his career but but acted like he’s above the law and can’t be controlled.
He added that as a signee at Portable’s ‘Zee Nation Records, the singer had done many things to him – although he didn’t spill what these things are.
