The supporters of the Labour Party candidate in the February 25 presidential election, Peter Obi, have been granted permission to stage a protest in the United States.
The United States Ministry of the Interior through the National Park Service issued a permit to the protesters who applied for the authorization under the aegis of the Nigerian American Coalition for Justice Inc.
According to the permit, a copy of which was seen by our correspondent, the protest will take place on April 3, 2023, at the Lafayette Park-Southwest Quadrant in Maryland.
