RMD, Kate Henshaw, Fred Amata bag FilmHouse awards

Just like teachers need not get to heaven before getting their rewards, filmmakers are also reaping the fruits of their hard labour right here on earth as FilmHouse honoured RMD, Kate Henshaw, Fred Amata and Zeb Ejiro.

The event which was held at Sabor, Victoria Island, Lagos was put together to harald the upcoming release of mouth watering movie, Domitilla: The Reboot.

The event honoured movie trailblazers for their immense contributions to the Nigerian movie industry for decades with the likes of Clarion Chukwura, Elvina Ibru, and RMD, among others lauded for their selfless contribution to the industry.

“We are thrilled to have hosted this event to honour the legends who paved the way for the growth of Nollywood. We are proud of their contributions to the industry and the inspiration they have been to the younger generation. We look forward to more opportunities to celebrate them.” General Manager of FilmOne Studios, Mimi Bartels,  said,

The evening provided a unique opportunity to bring together the cast of the original Domitilla movie and the new Domitilla Reboot. This reunion was a nostalgic experience for fans and stakeholders in the industry who were thrilled to see their favorite stars come together once again.
