Nasarawa agog as INEC declares Abdullahi Sule winner of guber polls

Gov. Abdullahi Sule campaign team were on cloud nine in the early hours of today after Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared the incumbent governor as winner of Nasarawa guber polls.

INEC State Collation Officer and Returning Officer,Prof Ishaya Tanko, declared the outcome of final in Lafia at the Nasarawa State Collation Centre.

Prof Ishaya Tanko, said that APC polled a total of 347, 209 votes to defeats of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) David Ombugadu, who got 283, 016 votes.

“Abdullahi Sule of APC, having satisfied the requirements of the law and scored the highest number of votes in the election is hereby declared winner and returned elected”.

APC won in 11 out of the 13 local government areas of the state.
