Atiku urges INEC to announce Adamawa governorship election

The former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to as a matter of serving souls announce the governorship election results in Adamawa State.

Atiku made the call Monday in Yola the Adamawa State capital while speaking to newsmen said “the State is known as a peaceful State and should not be forced to change.

“Twenty out of the twenty one Local Government Areas was released in which the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate leads, adding even if the results of the Fufore is released the PDP still stand to win “, he maintained.

The PDP Presidential candidate used the occasion to draw the attention of Nigerians and the International Communities to what is happening in Adamawa State for the first time.
