Sen. Chimaroke Nnamani, of Enugu-East Senatorial District, finally drew the curtain on his political career under the flagship of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after he withdrew his membership, iwitnesslive.com can report.
The former Enugu State governor announced his exit in Abuja on Monday after which he expressed his appreciation to his constituents for their support over the years.
Nnamani opted to quit PDP rather than seek reconciliation with party members to further plunge the party into a deeper crisis.
Although, he has kept his next line of action close to his chest word was rife that he will be announcing his defection to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the coming days.
