Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Governorship and House of Assembly elections, held on Saturday is set to be announced as the winner of the polls as he has cleared 18 out of the 19 Local Government areas announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission so far.
The candidate of the Labour Party’s Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has won only in Amuwo Odofin LGA.
Only the results from the remaining local government, Eti-Osa, are being awaited. Election held in 10 polling units in the LG today while the results are still being collated.
