During the Gubernatorial election in Oshodi, some threats were made by the thugs in an effort to discourage voters from casting their ballots in large numbers.
According to a source, group of thugs backing the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has threatened residents of Agbo-Ola street, Orile, Oshodi, Lagos not to vote at all if they will not cast their ballots for APC candidates in Saturday’s governorship and state’s House of Assembly elections.
Similar threats have been made in Sangotedo and Okiki Junction, off Ago Palace way in Lagos state, all to frighten voters into not voting for APC rivals.
