Don’t come out if you won’t vote for APC, MC Oluomo threatens Lagos voters

The Chairman of the Lagos State Park Management Committee Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo caused a stir when he was seen in a viral video threatening voters who would potentially cast their ballot against the candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress in Saturday’s governorship and House of Assembly elections in the state.

In the video, Akinsanya who is also a member of the APC, was addressing the party faithful when he issued the threat.

“We have begged them. If they don’t want to vote for us, it is not a fight. Tell them, mama Chukwudi, if you don’t want to vote for us, sit down at home. Sit down at home,” MC Oluomo said in pidgin English as seen in a viral video shared on Twitter.

APC has dominated Lagos politics for a long time but losing the presidential elections to the Labour Party has thrown the party into a panic mood ahead of the governorship polls on Saturday.

Peter Obi of the Labour Party recorded 582,454 votes to defeat former Lagos governor and APC flag bearer Bola Tinubu, who polled 572,606 votes.
However, Obi’s unprecedented victory in Lagos State has positioned his party’s candidate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, as a major challenger of Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the APC in the governorship election scheduled to hold on Saturday.
