A Magistrate court sitting in Owerri, Imo State capital, has remanded the immediate past Deputy Governor of the state, Gerald Irona, in prison custody.
The presiding Magistrate, C. N Ezerioha, after hearing the prosecution counsel and defense counsel, noted the jurisdictional limitations of his court while ordering that Engr. Gerald Irona be remanded in custody at the Owerri Correctional Centre.
