By David Kabiyesi

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday lived-up to its earlier promises to demonstrate its good deeds towards victims of Maiduguri market fire as the party donated a whopping N100 million, iwitnesslive.com can report.

The National Chairman of APC, Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, handed over the donation when the party’s National Working Committee visited Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum.

Adamu maintained that the donation has been seen set aside to support Governor Zulum in his efforts to provide comfort and relief for the victims of the fire incident.

He was accompanied by Sen. Abubakar Kyari, Deputy National Chairman (North); Amb. Usman Sarki, Special Adviser on Policy; Amb. Habib Habu, Special Adviser on Protocol and Programme; and Nata’ala Keffi, Special Adviser on Media.

In his remarks, Zulum expressed his profound gratitude to the APC chairman and the working committee delegation for their visit and their donations

Governor Zulum then assured that the donation would go a long way in alleviating the suffering of the victims.
