2023 Elections: Dele Momodu lauds Obidients' turnout in Lagos

By David Kabiyesi

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential election spokesman, Dele Momodu has showered encomium on Labour Party faithful in Lagos for defying attacks from political thugs to vote massively after Peter Obi floored Bola Tinubu in Saturday’s elections.

Based on final results collated in Lagos State, Peter Obi polled 575,524 while All Progressive Congress (APC) had 573, 001 to emerge winner in Lagos as widely predicted by political analysts weeks before the election.

Reacting to the result, Dele Momodu refused to comment on PDP’s poor performance in Lagos but lauded Peter Obi’s faithful for turning the table in APC stronghold.

“Labour Party put up a spectacular display in Lagos and I must salute them even though we are not in the same Party” the PDP spokesman stated.
