The Osun State Police Command has arrested a suspected cultist, Fatai Abass, that has been on its watch list for over a year.
The suspect was arrested at Oke Baale Area of Osogbo, the state capital by the operatives of the command’s Anti-Cultism Squad, following a tip-off.
The spokesperson for the state police command, Yemisi Opalola, who confirmed the arrest, said the command would not allow criminals the space to operate in the state.
He said, “Yes, he (Abass) was arrested. Investigation will continue to reveal others involved in the crime.”
