Chelsea's conqueror, Karim Adeyemi attributes speed to fufu

Speed prodigy, Karim Adeyemi shocked many when he declared that his speed is linked to his preference for Nigerian local delicacy, fufu.

 Spectators and pundits who turned up at Signa lduma Park on Wednesday night watched in dismay as the the lad outpaced Chelsea defender, Enzo Fernandes in a 70 yard solo to score the only goal of the match for Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 clash.

Fielding questions from reporter after the game, Adeyemi attributes his strength to his genes and pointed out that eating fufu has helped his speed a lote.

Despised by some Nigerians who claimed fufu makes them look overweightt, it is a tale of different strokes for different folks following Adeyemi’s revelation on  Wednesday nigh.

“I eat a lot of African foods; I have good genetics from my dad so I think it will be difficult. It is called fufu, and it’s a Nigerian food which is very good,” Karim Adeyemi told UEFA TV.
