Erstwhile Super Eagles captain, Austin Jayjay Okocha is tipping Spartak Moscow winger, Victor Moses to overcome his injury woes and return to winning ways after being sidelined for months, iwitnesslive.com can report.
In an exclusive chat with Russia’s sports handle, Sports24.ru, the former Bolton Wanderers midfielder described Moses as a complete professional who gives his all whenever he plays. Okocha added that Moses’ wealth of experience at the top level has continued to rub on Spartak Moscow as the Russian giants seek to become league champions this season.
Jayjay described Moses’ injury as a huge setback for the club, but he maintained that Spartak can be rest assured that it will be business as usual when the former Chelsea star recovered fully.
“Victor Moses is a top player who played the game at a high level at Chelsea and I’m not surprised that he is showing his worth at Spartak Moscow.
“It is quite unfortunate that he is injured at the moment, but I want to wish him only the very best.
“I am confident that he will help Spartak become champion when he recovers fully from the injury and returns to the squad Moses spent nine years at Stamford Bridge before joining Spartak Moscow in 2021.
