My ordeals in the hands of DSS over coup statement- Fani-Kayode

A former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has narrated his ordeal in the hands of the operatives of the Department of State Services when he was interrogated for five hours following his recent statement on coup plot by the military.

Fani-Kayode, the the Director of Special Projects and New Media of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, was invited for questioning after alleging that presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, was having a clandestine meeting with some military top brass on possible coup d’etat.

The former presidential spokesperson told newsmen in Abuja that even though the DSS operatives were professional, it was an experience he wouldn’t wish for even his enemies.

He also revealed that he would be visiting the DSS headquarters on Wednesday for further questioning.

“I spent about five hours. I was subjected to thorough grilling; they were very thorough and highly professional in their interrogation. And I was asked to go back on Wednesday for further interrogation.

“The place anybody wouldn’t want to go, I think is the DSS. If I were to do it a second time, I won’t tweet this same way.”
