Controversial figure Bobrisky, real name Idris Okuneye, today made his appearance at the Federal High Court in Lagos today for his trial on charges of money laundering and abusing the currency.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had filed six counts against him, alleging offenses dating back to March 24, 2024.
Among the accusations, Bobrisky is said to have tampered with N50,000 at Aja Junction in Ikorodu between July and August 2023, and with another N20,000 at White Steve Event Hall in Ikeja in December 2023, both incidents occurring during social events where he was dancing.
