Naira Mutilation: Bobrisky pleads guilty in court

Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, admitted guilt on Friday to four charges of abusing the naira and money laundering brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in a Lagos court.

The self-proclaimed transgender was apprehended in Lagos on Wednesday for reportedly mishandling naira notes by spraying and damaging them at an event. Initially facing six charges, two were dropped after negotiations between the parties.

Court proceedings are ongoing at the time of this report.
