A fashion entrepreneur, Kingsley Anyanwu, aka, Kayzfazz, has advised youths to be calm and law-abiding adding that they should make a bold decision with their permanent voters’ cards (PVCs).
Anyanwu, who is also the chief executive officer (CEO) of Kayzfazz fashion and stunning glimpse, in a statement on Tuesday said it was not a coincidence that the twin problems of naira scarcity and fuel hike were happening in an election season.
He added that it was a good omen that will open the eyes of Nigerians to vote wisely. The young entrepreneur urged youths to avoid being used by politicians to stage violent protests that could disrupt the elections but rather should vent their anger with their PVCs and vote only for those that have the interest of the people at heart.
Anyanwu regretted that it is poor in the society that is worst hit adding that small-scale businesses have been badly affected.
The statement read, “These are indeed bad times for all Nigerians, particularly youths and young entrepreneurs who are striving to make ends meet and break even. However, we should not despair but see it as a sacrifice to enthrone good leadership.
“As we go to the polls in a few days’ time, our youths should eschew any provocation that will warrant them to violently take to the streets as this may disrupt the elections and take us backwards, rather we should use our PVCs to vent our anger and frustrations at the ballot boxes and vote for credible leaders who will steer us out of the woods. Let’s vote wisely.”
