As part of its usual style of calming players’ nerves before important games, Super Eagles crew came up with an idea of celebrating players and coaches who won major trophies this season, iwitnesslive.com can report.
In a video released right before their Thursday training at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, players and officials formed a guard of honour to celebrate their teammates who stood out at their respective clubs.
Leading the role call was coach Finidi George after his Super Six feat with Enyimba, while FC Porto defender Saidu followed after helping Porto win the league. Next was Enyimba’s goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke while Victor Osimhem showed up behind him.
