Shortly after expressing support for Hilda’s consumption of dog meat, a comical incident occurred when Okon Lagos unexpectedly encountered her on a plane.
Hilda Baci took to her Instagram page to share a video capturing the amusing moment when Nollywood actor Ime Bishop Umoh, widely known as Okon, coincidentally ended up seated next to her during their flight.
“We haven’t finished boarding and I’m just laughing,” Baci wrote in the caption of the video.
In the recorded video clip, both Hilda Baci and Okon Lagos can be seen enjoying a laughter-filled interaction while onboard the plane.
This amusing encounter comes just days after Okon Lagos publicly criticized the president of the Dog Lovers Association for calling out renowned chef Hilda Baci over her dog meat dish.
As previously reported, Hilda Baci faced backlash from Jackie Idimogu, the president of the Dog Lovers Association, following the viral video featuring her and an influencer sampling a dog meat delicacy.
In response, Okon Lagos referred to Jackie as a clout-chaser and suggested that she was attempting to overshadow Hilda’s success by provoking negative sentiments from the Western audience.
He pointed out to the lady that eating dog meat is a delicacy in Akwa Ibom, which happens to be where Hilda is from.
