On May 15, 2023, Hilda Baci garnered attention after reportedly surpassing the previous Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon. The previous record, held by Chef Lata Tondon from Rewa, India in 2019, stood at 87 hours and 45 minutes.
However, it should be noted that the Guinness World Record has not yet officially confirmed Baci as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon, despite her remarkable achievement.
Hilda Baci, a chef from Akwa Ibom, has found herself embroiled in various controversial incidents that have attracted criticism from Nigerians.
Recent reports indicate that Hilda Baci is purportedly charging a substantial fee of N25,000 for personal meet-ups in Abuja. Allegedly, individuals would have to pay this amount to have a brief encounter with her on June 24, 2023.
While Hilda Baci has yet to address these allegations publicly, many Nigerians have expressed their disappointment and apprehension regarding what they perceive as an excessive fee for a chef meet-up.
