Isaac Omodewu, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has passed away in the United States.
It was reported that Omodewu traveled to the USA in November 2023 for medical treatment.
He had been receiving care for an undisclosed ailment and succumbed to his condition after nearly a year. Omodewu was a U.S. citizen.
The state Publicity Secretary, Olawale Sadare, confirmed the news when contacted by our correspondent.
“Our chairman is dead,” he simply said.
