Former Super Eagles head coach Samson Siasia is poised to take on a role with a local league club in the coming days, according to IWITNESSLIVE.
Siasia will be eligible to return to coaching at the end of this month when his ban from the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) expires.
It’s worth recalling that the former striker was initially handed a lifetime ban by FIFA due to match-fixing allegations. However, the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) later reduced his punishment to a five-year ban.
Reports suggest that several clubs in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and the second tier, Nigeria National League (NNL), have already approached the former Nantes of France player.
Siasia is expected to make a decision on his next move at the end of the month.
