Atiku Launches Online Platform To Track Record, Challenge Policies

The presidential candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has launched an online platform, “Ask AA,” through which Nigerians can question his public service record, challenge his policies and seek details of his plans for the country ahead of the 2027 general election.

The portal, according to statement by Director, Strategic Communication of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council (ADC-PCC), Phrank Shaibu, is scheduled to go live at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2026.

It said the platform would allow citizens to ask questions on the economy, security, technology, job creation and measures to reduce the cost of living.

The ADC-PCC said Atiku would personally answer questions submitted through the portal, while members of his media team would also respond to inquiries.

According to the statement, the initiative would provide an avenue for Nigerians to scrutinise the former vice-president’s record and proposals, adding that leadership should involve direct communication between elected leaders and citizens rather than being restricted by bureaucratic barriers.

“Leadership is a two-way conversation,” the statement added, stating that Nigerians should be able to question Atiku’s economic record, examine his policy proposals and offer suggestions on national development.

ADC-PCC added that the platform was designed to bring the presidential candidate closer to the electorate and improve access to information about his political agenda, and said that the initiative reflected Atiku’s position that modern technology could help make governance more efficient and responsive.

For Nigerians in communities with limited or no internet access, the campaign said it planned to introduce a radio interface to make the platform more accessible, and urged Nigerians to use the portal to raise questions, criticise Atiku’s proposals and share ideas on addressing the country’s challenges.
