Insecurity: It’ll Be hard For Tinubu To Campaign In Kwara, Benue, Niger, Others – PRP

The People’s Redemption Party (PRP) said it will be difficult for President Bola Tinubu, during campaign for his re-election, to explain to the people of Kwara, Niger, Benue, Kebbi, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kaduna, Borno, Plateau, Yobe and many other parts of the country, why he could not secure them for the past three and half years he has been their president.

PRP National Chairman Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed in a statement on Tuesday, decried the scale of killings and abductions of helpless citizens, and the rising impunity of bandits in the country, and said it suggests that Nigerians live in a lawless country.

“It also speaks volumes of the incompetence, indifference and contempt for opinions of citizens by the APC administration under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” the National Chairman said.

He lamented that more and more Nigerians pay with lives, livelihood, assets and freedom, daily for an “administration that is too distant and incapable of bringing relief to them.

“This same administration, however, is throwing rolling scandalous amounts of money at tiny circles of Nigerians to buy support for a vain and poisoned ambition.”

Dr. Baba-Ahmed said the nation’s military and sundry volunteers are hard-pressed and virtually at the mercy of this expanding industry that feeds on lives, livelihood and economy of millions of Nigerians.

“Yet this administration is asking Nigerians to vote it back for four more years,” he noted.

He called on Nigerians to vote against an administration and leadership who failed to protect them from bandits and criminal elements who exploit weaknesses of the leadership.

“President Tinubu still has four months to go before his defeat. He has a responsibility to live up to his oath to protect lives and welfare of Nigerians.

“He may be staring at defeat with his record, but Nigerians cannot wait until May 2027 to stop dying and being victims of a failed leadership,” Baba-Ahmed stated.
