Renowned security expert and Chairman of Mainforce International Investment Limited, Chief Owolabi Ajayi, popularly known as S.O., has urged the people of Ogun State to give the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, the opportunity to serve as governor in 2027.
Ajayi, who spoke at an interfaith prayer and praise programme organised by the Ogun State chapter of the APC, also prayed to God to grant Adeola success in the forthcoming governorship election.
The security expert praised Adeola for his commitment to the development of Ogun State, expressing confidence that he would provide a government capable of addressing the yearnings and aspirations of the people.
He said Ogun needed a government that would extend meaningful development to every part of the state, including communities that had not adequately benefited from previous government interventions.
Ajayi urged the people to give Adeola a chance to translate his vision into reality, saying an administration under his leadership would bring development to all nooks and crannies of the state.
He also commended Adeola’s wife, Temitope Adeola Yayi, for her support and described her as an important partner in the governorship candidate’s political journey.
Ajayi prayed for God’s guidance, protection and success for Adeola and his wife, while also seeking divine intervention for the APC candidates contesting the 2027 elections.
He spoke during the APC’s interfaith religious programme organised for all the party’s candidates at the state and federal levels, from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to federal legislators, the governorship candidate and candidates for the State House of Assembly.
The event, tagged “Interfaith Prayer and Praise: Victory with God,” was held on Wednesday, September 30, at the Ake Palace Pavilion, Abeokuta, with Christian and Muslim religious leaders and artistes offering prayers and praise for Nigeria and the APC candidates.
The programme was powered by Adeola and the Ogun State APC Campaign Council as part of activities ahead of the 2027 general election.
Ajayi said the prayer programme was significant as it brought together political leaders, party members, religious leaders and other stakeholders to seek God’s guidance and blessings for the nation and the candidates.
The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, was the Chief Host of the event, while former governor of the state, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, served as the Special Guest of Honour.
Religious and gospel artistes who performed at the event included Beejay Sax, Laolu Gbenjo, Tope Alabi, Lilian Nneji, Toluwasings, Soaty Arewa, Yusuf Olotu and Ahmed Alawiye Alalubarika, among others.
The event featured praise renditions and prayers for Nigeria, peace, good governance and the success of the APC candidates as the party begins preparations for the 2027 elections.
