Afrobeats singer Spyro has revealed why he does not plan to leave his wealth for his children, explaining that he cannot predict what they would do with it after his death.
Speaking during a recent interview, the singer opened up about his views on wealth, parenting and his Christian faith.
According to Spyro, he does not subscribe to the idea of accumulating wealth solely to hand it over to his children after he is gone.
“I’m not part of the school of thought of leaving money down for children because, at the end of the day, after I’m gone, I don’t know what they will do with it,” he said.
Spyro also addressed his music career and clarified that his Christian faith does not mean he has to make gospel music.
I’m a Jesus boy, but my music does not necessarily need to be Jesus music. I’m a Jesus boy because I love and serve God. I don’t necessarily need to do gospel music,” he added.
