Merit, federal character principles take precedent in our recruitment – Customs

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) said painstaking procedures to ensure only the right candidates emerge in the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise responsible for delay in release of successful candidates .

The recruitment exercise by the Service which opened in December 2024 with 3,852 vacant positions attracted 573,680 applications.

Speaking to the journalists on Tuesday in Abuja, Comptroller General of the Service Dr. Wale Adeniyi said after a series of rigorous selection processes, 3,852 fresh candidates were offered placement across the three cadres of Service , thus completing a recruitment exercise that opened in December 2024.
