Saudi Arabian investors have expressed interest in exploring investment opportunities in Bauchi State following a meeting with Governor Bala Mohammed at the Government House, Bauchi.
The delegation, accompanied by representatives of Nigerian students studying in Saudi universities, was led by the Director of the Centre for Sunnah Studies in Africa, Dr. Shuaibu Abubakar Idris.
Idris said the investors were attracted by Bauchi’s investment potential and were optimistic about establishing partnerships that would promote economic development.
Governor Mohammed welcomed the initiative and assured the delegation of his administration’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for investors.
He also highlighted the value of the long-standing educational relationship between Northern Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, urging greater recognition of Arabic education in Nigeria.
The student representatives thanked the governor for supporting education and promised to apply the knowledge gained abroad towards the development of Bauchi State and the country.
