Sokoto Lawmaker Donates N1m to Marshal Trainees During Camp Visit

The APC House of Representatives candidate for Gada/Goronyo Federal Constituency, Hon. Sayudi Almustapha Gada, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, visited the Sokoto Marshal Training Camp. He interacted with participants drawn from Gada and Goronyo Local Government Areas.

The visit is in continuation of his commitment to youth empowerment and human capital development.

During the visit, Hon. Sayudi commended the administration of Governor Ahmed Aliyu for initiating and sustaining the Sokoto Marshal programme.

He described it as a strategic intervention aimed at equipping young people with discipline, skills, and opportunities to contribute meaningfully to society.

He noted that the programme reflects the government’s commitment to youth development, job creation, and community service.

As part of his support for the trainees, Hon. Sayudi donated over one million naira to participants from the two local government areas.

Under the gesture, each participant received N10,000 as financial assistance to encourage and motivate them during the training exercise.

Addressing the trainees, Hon. Sayudi urged them to take full advantage of the opportunity by remaining disciplined, focused, and committed to the objectives of the programme.

He advised them to strictly abide by all the rules and regulations guiding the training, emphasizing that discipline and dedication are essential qualities for personal success and effective public service.

He further encouraged the participants to see themselves as ambassadors of Gada and Goronyo Federal Constituency, urging them to uphold good character, integrity, and patriotism during and after the training.

According to him, after completing the programme, they should discharge their responsibilities diligently, serve their communities with honour, and become worthy representatives of the confidence reposed in them.

Hon. Sayudi reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote youth empowerment, security, and sustainable development across the constituency.

He assured the participants that their welfare and future remain among his top priorities.

The visit was witnessed by Flight Lieutenant Shehu Yau (Rtd.), Consultant to the Sokoto Marshal Training Programme; Alhaji Sani Umar Shinaka; Basiru Ibrahim; Abdul Nasir; and several other dignitaries.

They commended Hon. Sayudi for his generosity, encouragement, and continued support for youth development in Gada and Goronyo Federal Constituency.
