Bala Mohammed Attends APM Exco Swearing-In, Calls for Fair Elections

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has attended the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected State Executive Council of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), where he called for fairness, justice and neutrality in Nigeria’s electoral process.

Speaking at the event, Governor Mohammed said his engagement with the party was driven by the need to advance collective aspirations and strengthen a platform for inclusive political participation and development.

He expressed satisfaction with the reception accorded to him within the party, noting that the APM was gaining momentum and attracting growing support from Nigerians in search of purposeful leadership.

The Governor further urged the Federal Government, security agencies and other stakeholders to ensure credible and transparent elections across the country.

He also expressed confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing him as a nationalist who would act in the best interest of democracy and national stability.

Earlier, the Chairman of the APM Electoral Committee and Bauchi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Usman Shehu Usman, announced Auwal Isa as the newly elected State Chairman of the party.

Other elected officials include Malam Abdulqadir Gamawa as Deputy Chairman, Adamu Muhammad Gaddafi as Treasurer, Alhaji Samaila Sambuwal as Auditor, and Abdulshakur Malami as Publicity Secretary, alongside other executive members who were sworn in at the ceremony.
