Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has expressed satisfaction after Udinese secured a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Como in Serie A.
The 26-year-old, who was initially doubtful for the clash following a thigh injury sustained on international duty last week, made a full recovery to start between the posts.
Okoye produced a series of crucial saves to deny Como and help Udinese halt the visitors’ winning run.
Reflecting on the performance, he told the club’s official website: “I’m happy with the clean sheet, but especially with the point. They were strong; it wasn’t easy, but we worked hard during the week and were ready.”
The result keeps Udinese in contention while highlighting Okoye’s growing influence in the team.
