Acting National Secretary, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Samuel Anyanwu, said the party does not belong to one individual.
Anyanwu at the inauguration of the party’s National Convention Organising and Planning Committee in Abuja on Saturday, stated that PDP is a big family, and not for private interests.
He likened the party to a “bigger church, when you go out, if God has released any miracle, you can come back.
“PDP is hopeful (that) those who have left out of anger, I want to assure you that PDP is going to regain strength, and they will come back in 2027.”
The acting Secretary assured those who would like to contest the 2027 general elections on the party’s platform that nobody will disqualify them, “because PDP is strong. Nobody will disqualify you because the party is back and peaceful.
“Also, the NWC members that will be elected from this convention will sign your forms. INEC is with us and they witnessed all our congresses.”
