BREAKING: Soludo Sworn in for Second Term as Anambra Governor

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has officially been sworn in for a second term in office as the leader of Anambra State.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at Dr Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, attracting a large gathering of dignitaries and guests from across the country.

Soludo arrived at the venue at exactly 11:18 a.m. alongside several high-profile figures, including Vice President Kashim Shettima, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, and former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Also present were elder statesman Emeka Anyaoku and the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Ogunwusi.
Soludo took the oath of allegiance at exactly 11:50 a.m., followed by the oath of office, which lasted about five minutes. He was accompanied by his wife, Nonye Soludo, who stood beside him during the proceedings.

At 11:55 a.m., he signed the oath documents in the presence of the state’s Chief Judge to loud applause from the crowd.

The ceremony formally marks the beginning of Soludo’s second term in office, which will run until 2030.
