Singer Paul Okoye reacts to claims lady who accused him of rape has been sentenced to six years imprisonment

Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, aka Rudeboy, has reacted to reports claiming the young lady who accused him of being a rapist and abuser of minors has been sentenced to six years’ imprisonment.
It was reported last year, Paul had vowed to take legal action against a lady for making a defamatory statement about him and his previous marriage. The lady, in a tweet, had claimed that the singer had cheated on his ex-wife, Anita Okoye, with his housemaid, and Paul had vowed to use her as a scapegoat.
On Thursday, March 5, social media was agog with reports that the lady had been sentenced after she was arraigned for falsely accusing the singer of rape.
Addressing the reports in his Instagram story, Paul stated they were false.
“Fake news”, he wrote.
During Paul’s messy divorce from his ex-wife, Anita, in her court filings, Anita accused Paul of sleeping with their housemaid, Florence. She claimed he was inviting Florence to hotels to carry out their illicit affairs.
The court documents revealed that Paul had thrown Anita and her sister out of the house when they discovered his affair with his housemaid. He also boasted that the reason for his actions was to ensure that Anita’s wings were clipped and that she had no one else to lean on.
