Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has brought together prominent stakeholders from ten Local Government Areas for Iftar breakfast.
The gathering, according to him, would promote unity, engagement, and spiritual reflection during the holy month of Ramadan.
The stakeholders were from Darazo, Misau, Dambam, Zaki, Gamawa, Giade, Shira, Jama’are, Itas/Gadau, and Katagum Local Government Areas.
They are political leaders, elders, party supporters as well as influential community figures.
In his address, Governor Mohammed encouraged political actors and residents of Bauchi state to remain calm despite ongoing political developments, emphasizing that peace, unity, and stability are essential to sustaining the state’s developmental gains.
He further reaffirmed his steadfast commitment to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, reassuring clear that he remains loyal to the party and has no plans to defect to any other political platform.
Mohammed, however, urged party members and stakeholders to stay focused and avoid distractions arising from rumours or speculation, stressing that collective efforts toward the continued development of Bauchi State must remain paramount.
