Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has reacted to accusations of giving one of her goddaughters, Fola Tinubu Kayamata
It was reported that an anonymous blog, Gistlover, had alleged that Ojo gave her aphrodisiacs to attract men. The blogger compiled a list of celebrities and men with whom Fola Tinubu is allegedly involved.
Reacting to the accusations via her Instagram story, Iyabo noted how Tinubu is an adult who knows what she is doing. She said she can’t monitor her goddaughter’s love life and doesn’t discuss relationships with her.
Iyabo noted that she isn’t using Kayamata, so she can’t recommend it to anyone. The movie star further clarified her relationship with Tinubu, stating that Tinubu was just her goddaughter, whom she helped with her business and legal battles.
She stated that if the report were true, she prays that God destroy her and all that she stands for; however, if it were false, she returns unprintable words to them.
“First and foremost, Fola Tinubu is an adult. I’m not one to monitor or ask questions about anyone’s life. Gistlover saying I gave Fola any form of Kayamata is a lie from the pit of hell. I have never once asked or discussed anything pertaining to her relationship with her. I don’t know who she is dating, and I never asked her; nothing concerns me, nor have I ever given her anything for s*xual or relationship purposes. I myself don’t use Kayamata, so how will I give what I don’t have? I don’t patronise such
Fola is not my friend; she was a lady I helped who later became a goddaughter. I don’t discuss intimate matters with goddaughters; I’m a very strict and busy person. I helped her in so many ways with her business and legal battles. Now, to the glory of God, she is doing well for herself; that was my goal with her, nothing more, nothing less.
If what you have rewritten is true about me, may God destroy me and all that I stand for. But if it’s all lies about me, may God punish whoever is sending you those lies.
The Return of Arinzo is coming soon”.
