Federal Character Commission (FCC) has pledged to work with New Telegraph Newspapers to ensure that its messages reach the targeted audience.
Executive Chairman of the commission, Hon. Huluyat Motunrayo Omidiran who spoke on Thursday when Chairman of Board of New Telegraph, Hon. Kunle Gidado, extolled the professionalism of medium, and expressed confidence of lasting relationship.
“We are clearing house of employment agencies. We service 700 agencies, 36 states and 774 local government areas.
“Our mandate is very huge and we recognise that we cannot do this alone. We work with you so that the people can get to know what we do,” Hon. Omidiran stated.
She recounted her age long relationship with some staff members of New Telegraph family, and said the new partnership is not by accident.
Chairman of the Board of New Telegraph, Hon. Kunle Gidado, told the Chairman that the purpose of the visit was to congratulate her on her new appointment and to explore areas of cooperation.
Gidado who expressed confidence in the ability of Hon. Omidiran to deliver in her mandate, assured that New Telegraph is ready to project the image of the commission.
“We will be ready always to help you succeed. New Telegraph ready to work with you and help project the image of the commission,” he said.
The Chairman later presented a copy of New Telegraph Newspaper to the Executive Chairman.
