In a move aimed at strengthening institutional performance, Governor Bala Mohammed has approved strategic redeployments and fresh appointments in critical state agencies.
In a press release signed by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Comrade Mukhtar Gidado, Wednesday in Bauchi, disclosed that the changes were necessitated by existing vacancies and the administration’s resolve to reposition affected agencies for improved efficiency.
According to the release, Alhaji Abubakar Isa Baba has been moved from RUWASSA to head the Bauchi State Universal Basic Education Board, while Alhaji Yayanuwa Zainabari will now oversee operations at RUWASSA after serving at the Bauchi State Water and Sewerage Corporation.
Similarly, Engineer Salmanu Mohammed has been entrusted with leading the Water and Sewerage Corporation, a key agency responsible for urban water supply, while Alhaji Garba Mohammed Noma assumes leadership of the Bauchi State Markets and Terminals Management Company Limited.
Gidado said the Governor expressed confidence that the new leadership across the agencies would inject fresh ideas and accelerate ongoing reforms in water supply, basic education, and market administration.
