The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Bulabari Henrietta Loolo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of Khana Constituency II by-election in Rivers State.
She pulled a total of 7,647 votes, to defeat candidates of the African Alliance, New Nigerian Peoples Party, Young Peoples Party and Zenith Labour Party, who pulled less than 200 votes combined.
In her victory speech, Bulabari promised to carry everyone along in her constituents when she assumes office.
Also, at Ahoada-East Constituency II, the APC candidate, Ukalikpe Napoleon, was declared winner of Constituency 2 by-election by the returning Officer, Prof. Rosemary Ogbo, who declared that the election was duly conducted and contested.
Napoleon, who scored a total of 3,980 votes to defeat other candidates, commended voters for turning out in large numbers to participate in the exercise.
