Lagos-based music video producer and Nouvelle Films founder, Femi Dapson, went all out this Valentine’s Day, surprising his fiancée, Simisanya, with a grand display of affection on massive digital billboards in Lekki Phase 1 and Phase 2.
The move drew the attention of motorists and passersby, turning the streets into an impromptu romantic gallery.
In multiple posts on X (formerly Twitter), Dapson shared photos and videos of the billboards alongside a scooter decorated for the occasion.
In his words, “A private message wasn’t enough, I needed to shout it so everyone can see.”
He added, “My message to you is on display the entire day on both sides of the billboards at Lekki Phase 1 and Lekki Phase 2.”
The elaborate display combined both digital spectacle and a personal touch, including a scooter ride to deliver the surprise to his partner.
Simisanya, the recipient of the public gesture, expressed excitement and gratitude in a reply.
“When I saw this, I screamed! Didn’t see this coming, honestly. I love him soooooooo much. I love you, my baby!! You are amazing,” she wrote on X.
The couple’s engagement, which took place in July 2025, was followed by a family introduction in November, and their wedding is scheduled for March 2026.
The Valentine’s display quickly went viral, with fans praising Dapson’s bold romantic approach.
