Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State, has formally rejoin the All Progressive Congress APC, said his decision was taken to stopped the State from playing opposition and Isolationists Politics which they are known to for the last several decades.
“Leadership must rise above comfort, sentiment or personal selfish, that is why after wide consultation and careful reflection of the future of Kano State together with the present realities I relinquish my membership of NNPP and joined the Party that is better for Kano”
“I Abba Kabir Yusuf the Governor of Kano State along with my Cabinet, the 22 out of 24 State Assembly Members and the 44 Local Governments Chairmen we agreed to aligned ourselves to the ruling party which is APC”.
“My return to APC was anchor on the reality of aligning with the President Tinubu central Government, I strongly put to support the renewed agenda which is anchors on the development of the Nation and which Kano would strongly benefits”.
He said the decision was not on personal selfishness not on any negative reasons but for the good of Kano and the transformational believes of the State.
“Kano is blessed with everything we must be seeing to stopped the confrontational politics government is not a personal context but a responsibility to the leader which we must stopped henceforth”.
We must stopped the isolation politics by aligning with the central Government we choosing development over personal selfishness, we are choosing progress over our desires, we must stopped Retrogressive politics to developmental Government”
Governor Yusuf believes that the decision create a calmer political atmosphere in the State adding that the decision is not eroded nor possess a diminishing the values of those who helped us to power I remained great full to them.”
He asked Kwankwaso not to see the changes by any reactional tendencies but by the development anda right full one that would helped the State.
“My loyalty is unwavering and is belonging to Kano, Kano first than anybody”.
The Governor Created a Kano elders Council which is non political but by people of respect and dignity, believing in the good of Kano, and asking them to stand above partisan politics to guide, reconcile and not to amplified but to solve. It will serve as a stabilizing moral consequences of the State.
He said the Council is his way of stabilizing the State Polity to reflect a single focus for Kano for its to moves forward in unity, the Government Remains inclusive no one will be rejected everyone would be carried alongside the Government.
Former Governor Umar Ganduje, Deputy President of the Senate, National and State Members of Assembly, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, Inuwa Waya, Senator Kawu Sumaila top members of the APC nationally and state were all presents at the E-registrations ceremony of the Governor which was done at the State Coronation hall.
The Songs of President Tinubu and they of the he Governor Yusuf filled the sky of the halls.
The State Chairman of APC, Abdullahi Abbas, said the decision was for the good and development of Kano, expressed the party and the members full loyalty to the Government of Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Adding that Kano is ready to work with the President Tinubu and his Government to achieve require development.
