Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has commended the quick action of the Nigeria police in the arrest of suspected criminals who killed a housewife and her six children in Kano State.
Obi in a statement on X, described the murder as “horrifying”, and said it “remains a deep sorrow in our hearts as a nation.”
He expressed the hope that police swift action in the arrest of the suspects would extend to other areas of crime, such as kidnapping and banditry.
“If we continue to see such decisive actions from our law enforcement agencies, we will undoubtedly witness a significant decline in crime within our communities,” Obi stated, adding, “A new Nigeria is possible and within our reach.”
