The Edo State governor, Monday Okpebolo has sacked the Managing Director of New Edo Line Transport Service Limited , Ms. Tinyan Otuomagie.
A statement by Edo State Commissioner for Transport, Saturday Uwulekhue Idehen, said the company’s General Manager, Maintenance, Mr. Smart Aigbodion, has been appointed as Acting Managing Director/CEO pending appointment of a substantive Managing Director.
It said Governor Okpebholo directed the sacked MD to be deployed to the Ministry of Information for other assignments as may be determined by him.
Ms Tinyan Otuomagie was appointed in June 2025 as the pioneer Managing Director of the rebrand state owned transport company.
