Singer, Teni laments poor officiating, receives medical drip following Super Eagles AFCON exit

Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has stirred reactions online after calling out Ghanaian music stars Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy over what she described as biased officiating in a recent football match involving Nigeria and AFCON host, Morocco.
In a viral video, the singer who was on sick bay receiving medical drip, jokingly accused Ghanaians of being responsible for Nigeria’s loss, claiming the match official, whom she referred to as their “brother”, favoured the opposing side.
Expressing her frustration in an emotional but humorous manner, Teni said the outcome of the game had affected her deeply.
She went on to playfully appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asking him to “send a fighter jet to Ghana,” while stressing that she had not been feeling well since the defeat.
“Ghanaians na Una make Nigeria lose this game yesterday. Ghanaians you will pay for this. How can you betray Nigerians this way. Baba Tinubu please help me send fighter jet to Ghana. I no dey feel well since yesterday, I no well,” she said in part.
