A bomb blast suspected to be planted by the members of Boko Haram insurgents has on Wednesday evening exploded in a mosque in Mauduguri, Bormo state capital.
The Improvised Explosive Device IEDs exploded in in Custom area during a Mgrib prayers ( evening prayers) when Resident of the area were observing the evening prayers .
It could be recalled that the Boko Haram insurgents have been attacking mosques, churches, military formations, Markets and public facilities resulting into the killing if several lives and many property destroyed since 2009.
The IED was insurgency to. Carried out by Boko Haram and its offshoot Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) who have terrorizing the the Northeastern part of country for nearly two decades, where many lives were killed and property worth millions of Naira destroyed.
At as the time of filling in this report , no group has claimed responsibility and no official confirmation by the Operation Hadin Kai of the Nigerian Army or police about the incident or number casualties.
