The Sokoto State Police Command regrets to announce the passing of Deputy Commissioner of Police Kabir Abdu, the Deputy Commissioner in charge of Operations.
DCP Abdu passed away after a prolonged illness while undergoing medical treatment at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital (UDUTH), Sokoto.
According to a statement issued by DSP Ahmad Rufai, PPRO Sokoto State Police Command, the Commissioner of Police, Sokoto State Command, CP Ahmed Musa, expressed deep sorrow over the loss.
CP Musa described the late senior officer as dedicated, disciplined, and selfless, whose commitment significantly enhanced security and stability in Sokoto State.
The Commissioner extended heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of DCP Kabir Abdu, praying that Allah grants the departed soul eternal rest and gives the bereaved family the strength to bear the loss.
The Nigeria Police Force will forever honor DCP Kabir Abdu’s invaluable contributions to policing, peace, and public safety.
